Those comparisons are unimpressive and very sad. The different is little in some areas, except some of the textures. And in one of them, the Warthog looks better on Halo 2 than Halo 3 in my eyes.
I'm nervous for Halo 3. These visuals better look x20 better or we'll become the laughing stock.
I would buy it first thing tomorrow morning if they dropped the price £100.
It would be sweet if we could customise these cars like in Forza :(

Last time i read about how Microsoft are losing money on the 360 and what they hope to achieve long-term, an MS employee, I really cannot remember the name, stated that they know they will lose money for now and at best, will break even later, but MS's goal is not profit in this generation but the following one.

Well if they want to compete they should drop the price. Only a mad man will believe it will destroy competition at that price, and thats without games and accessories.
It's naturally obvious that hype about the console is dying down and retailers are unable to sell their stocks.
Sell the console for £299 and it will be a success. Because only the hardcore have bought it so far.
This game won't sell as much as Halo 3. Even if it's better, it'll get outsold by a 3:1 ratio IMO.

Difference between Sony and MS; is that MS wont give a piece of sheet about how much money they're losing on the Xbox as long as they take some marketshare away from the PS3.

(the name brands supporting Blu-Ray), you'd think HD-DVD would be close to extinction but if it matches sales of Blu-Ray and even betters it in such a continent like Europe, then what's to stop these companies supporting both formats if not changing loyalty?
